HOME SERVICES PANAMA is a referral service. It maintains a database of Contractors (referred to as SERVICE PROs) who have completed an application process together with profile information, and have expressed an interest in providing in-home services to Homeowner or Homeowner Agents registered as MEMBERS of HOME SERVICES PANAMA in various geographic areas of Panamá. Homeowners or Homeowner Agents have applied as MEMBERS to the online service to accept referrals for various categories of home services they may, from time to time, require by means of an online request or to a representative of HOME SERVICES PANAMA. Any arrangements made or contracts negotiated are between the MEMBER (homeowner) and the SERVICE PRO (contractor). MEMBERS requesting referrals understand that the Contractors referred are independent of HOME SERVICES PANAMA, and are in no way agents or employees of HOME SERVICES PANAMA. The MEMBER agrees to satisfy himself or herself that the SERVICE PRO meets the standards he or she requires; and the MEMBER holds HOME SERVICES PANAMA harmless, including proceedings, from any defect in workmanship, default, damage, injury or expenses arising out of the work performed by the SERVICE PRO (contractor) and hired by the MEMBER (homeowner).

Should the SERVICE PRO require a pre-payment before initiating any work for the MEMBER, the MEMBER shall assume that permission has been granted by the SERVICE PRO for this pre-payment to be made directly to the bank account of HOME SERVICES PANAMA (or Owner account) with the caveat that it will be refunded to the MEMBER should the SERVICE PRO fail to show for commencement of work at the time and place agreed (or modified upon the approval of the MEMBER in regard to time). This pre-payment shall be deducted from the total cost of the contracted amount for the work as originally quoted.

The MEMBER agrees to inform HOME SERVICES PANAMA should additional work be added post-quotation to the project and the cost of such additional work.

The MEMBER additionally agrees to honor the relationship as a MEMBER of HOME SERVICES PANAMA and not engage the SERVICE PRO for work outside the "referral" arrangement, thereby circumventing entitled benefits to HOME SERVICES PANAMA. The SERVICE PRO has formally agreed in acceptance of his Terms & Conditions agreement not to solicit business through a MEMBER or an indirect referral from that source but rather shall instruct the MEMBER to contact HOME SERVICES PANAMA for all job referrals. In order to continue to provide quality referrals and upkeep on the profile information on the SERVICE PROs, it is in fairness to us that all parties respect this arrangement. Your cooperation in reporting any irregularities of this process is not only expected but appreciated.
